Research
CAD model
*3d print in high resolution wax-like material
Cast print in bronze, lost wax style in investment
Polish bronze
Silicone mold
Inject wax to pull wax copies from mold
Build sprue tree
Invest wax tree in plaster
Melt out wax
Pour in metal to cast steel dice
Polish castings
Gold plate casting
Antique finish (maybe)
Attach chains
Ship
So, since it's so many steps before we get to see the finished part, it'll take a while, and by the time we get to that step, we're basically ready to ship. Since I have large upfront costs to get started, I'm offering the small discount to people who preorder, so I have the funds available to get started.
Here's a couple of pics of a Meeseeks box ring I produced the same way, and a pic of the Twin Peaks ring band I made, cast brass, bronze, and gold plated brass, left to right.

Research
CAD model
*3d print in high resolution wax-like material
Cast print in bronze, lost wax style in investment
Polish bronze
Silicone mold
Inject wax to pull wax copies from mold
