Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

well, if the reports about a fractured ankle are true then his stunt double will be doing a hell of a lot more work! :D

Yeah, I'm thinking "precautionary" as well. We'll definitely know in the next day or so I'm sure. But, as has been posted elsewhere, he has had accidents before and everything panned out well; he must be made of some fairly resilient material. :) I definitely wish him well. I've never had a broken or even a sprained anything, but I can't imagine anything worse than being laid up for weeks and months with a cast, or worse, have to have pins surgically installed! :facepalm

Ha! We know from Episode III (ducks head for safety...:D) that there can be a fairly convincing character face swap with cg (ducks head again...), sooooo, if
bad comes to worse there's always that option...

I'm totally bs'ing my way through this as I am hoping beyond hope that everything works out in the end. As I'm certain it will. :angel :D

glad you said it first because I thought the same thing... :D lets hope they won't need to do such a thing.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

This is why you just use old-fashioned man power on sets. A guy right behind the wall surrounded by plywood and 2x4s, with pulleys and string. Who the hell needs a hydraulic door on a set?

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Well I don't believe a word the media says. I'm sure Harrison had an accident but the media never lets the truth get in the way of a good story. There probably wasn't even hydrolics involved. :)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I don't understand why some folks find this funny? Seriously, WTF is wrong with some of you?

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Oh, no. I don't think it's funny that Mr. Ford was injured, the sensationalist headline is what made me laugh.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

"Harrison Ford mercilessly attacked by renegade door, left in critical condition"

Ok, News, go home, you're drunk.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Using The Mirror as a representative standard of the industry, are we? ;)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Never mind... found out it was a doctored photo....

Still pretty brilliant :)

Yes, yes that is still funny! :) No disrespect to his ankle intended.

Is anyone other than myself looking at this photo and wondering where the heck 1980 went...?? :lol
