did not mean to start anything just my opinion Luke went dark sheesh did not know I destroyed anybody's world views I forget I must agree with the heard or be degraded and shunned lol

He had double knee replacement surgery a few years ago but sadly it appears he can still barely walk and certainly not unassisted. I think Peter will only portray Chewie in scenes where he's sitting down. I'd like to know if he's sharing the role with one particular performer or if there are multiple performers (in addition to Peter) portraying Chewie now.
 
Peter Mayhew was used in the sit down scenes, another tall guy was used as his double when running, walking and action scenes. This is something that can not be helped. Peter can't move like he once did.
 
Im sure i read somewhere that Ian Whyte who played the Engineer in Prometheus and a Predator in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is playing Chewie as well... i think :p
