Second time now they've show us an actor for a motion-capture character in the cap gear. What is the point of this? Would not most people assume that Andy Serkis is playing a mocap character if he's in the cast? It's a pointless tease, since it gives us no information about the character at all except that Snoke will at some point be sitting.

Actually I was amazed how many thought he might be playing a non-CG character.

That's like assuming Samuel L. Jackson is playing a character who speaks with an indoor voice. He's done it once or twice, but it's not what you generally hire him for.

I think the biggest thing that softens the names in Star Wars is that we never really see them written in the movies, only spoken, which takes some of the goofiness away when delivered well.

Some of the well liked names are pretty wacky but we are just used to hearing them.

At least it isn't Elan Sleazebaggano or whatever that was haha

I believe there have been quotes where Serkis confirmed he is playing just one character.

Her name was Jenny.

No its in the cut scenes, in fact she was played by Koo Stark, of banging prince Andrew fame.

Edit, jeyl got there before me, I guess Koo Stark was the girl who messed with Lukes binoculars.
