From on what we have hear drom the set and from Kevin Smith, they built a full scale set with interiors.

Someone posted a scan of the Haynes Falcon Manual earlier in the thread showing a rectangular YT-1300 dish so I'm guessing they got it from there.

The one on the ep VII Falcon looks wider than the one in that drawing.

Eh, it's similar in shape only. Def looks far more derived from the corvette's dish.

The new shot of the Falcon reminded me of a shot that needs fixing.....they'd need a better angle & some crew maybe boarding the ship......thats if Lucasfilm /Disney are still into tweaking the OT:

I agree, he deserves some kind of recognition for the art he has mastered. Wether you like the film or not he is a very talented actor

Andy Serkis has elevated the art of acting for motion-capture characters to such a degree that people in the industry often refer to those characters as "Serkis folk" now (an obvious play on the similar pronunciations of "Serkis" and "circus"). I'd say that's honorable, though unofficial, recognition.

Though Japan always tends to get a late release with many of the big blockbusters, I am glad this time they are getting a same day release as the US.
