Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

...You know, I knew nothing of POTC when I was growing up. I've been to Disney World once and I honestly don't recall if I even saw the attraction there or not. I've seen the movies, which were very good, but that's about the limit of my exposure to it. I was eight years old when Star Wars hit the scene, though, and it's been a SW buffet for me ever since. :)
I was five or six years old the first time I went to Disneyland, and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride is the only thing I remember from that visit, so I'd say it had an impact. That would have been around 1966-67, so my interest in pirates predates my interest in Star Wars by about a decade (Star Wars opened two months before my sixteenth birthday).

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I could go for an entire theme park based on Star Wars. Harry Potter has one.
I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid. Do they have anything related to Tron in their parks?

You'll be sorry you asked. The only Tron thing they have is a pre-teen themed nightclub/rave hall.

That is unfortunate. I love Star Wars and Tron so much, I would even have a few of the Disney Cruise ships made over in Star Wars or Tron style.

They don't even have that anymore, it's since been replaced by a Mad Hatter themed nightclub/rave hall.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

There NEEDS to be a light bike ride. :)

They did have sort of a light cycle ride way back when the first movie came out, there was a part of the old People Mover ride where you 'visited' the Tron universe and the People Mover 'sped up' as if you were racing like a light cycle.

Yep, these psychological imprints seem to be a lot about timing. Let's take the prequels, for instance... :devil

J/K! I won't even go there. :D

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Does the SAG union still hold that credits must run within a certain amount of time after the start of a movie?

If they do, we wont have the classic rolling story prologue, then right into the action.
We'll have the screen cluttered with names.

Someone posted here somewhere that it's no longer a requirement...
