I'd heard about that,....gonna have to keep my eyes peeled later in the week for my second view

I also noticed right when Rey first takes off, the ship skirts the ground at an angle and the new radar dish jolts and swivels a bit.
Looking at the cutaway pic, it's interesting that it notes that the new dish is a less capable civilian model, potentially providing a clue to what a stock YT-1300 looks like.

Wasn't there a book after ROTJ that had Luke getting cloned from his hand and he fought a dark version of himself? If that's the case, that would be a great back story. Luke fighting himself with his old lightsaber. Would be a hell of an explanation.

That was Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" trilogy. It's been a while since I read it, but I enjoyed it at the time.

exactly how i feel. i at first didnt know how i felt about hamill's leaked jedi photo. i was hoping it was going to be a figure and not seen in the movie. once i saw it on screen i really liked it. it gives me the gandolf the white feel. which i like about luke, him being the last jedi and not wearing the classic prequel robes
i really like how his costume didnt have sleeves on the cloak and resembled more of his ROTJ cloak
the box in Maz's basement is not the box (chest) obi wan pulls the ANH saber out of. check out the size comparison
the box Maz has the saber in is very old, and is used to contain a very very old sextant used to navigate space
I think Luke's garb in TFA looks waaay cooler than any prequel robe ever. And his hair was pretty wild as well. Super excited to see more of him in Episode VIII.
By the way ... has anyone checked Episode VIII's IMDB page recently? Harrison Ford's name is on there as returning cast! Does this mean flashbacks are confirmed???

Nah, it's hard enough to get a film made without necessities like that coming along all on their own! (Also, a left-to right switch is a "flop". A "flip" is top-to-bottom. A little film editing terminology there!Maybe the flip was an intentional easter-egg ? A hint to the original trilogy where shots had been flipped here and there.

True. The only Jedi he had ever seen were Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Force Ghost Anakin, so I thought it was fitting that his garb resembled Obi-Wan's even though the colors were different.
Maybe Han will show up as a ghost of some sort, maybe he'll be drug along by Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda.....
My money is on a flashback that sheds some light on why Ren considers Han to have been such a disapointment.
I watched the movie again tonight and to be 100% honest I can't help but feel that whatever happens with Kylo is gonna involve his mother, Leia.
And I get the screwy feeling he may actually come back to light and be a good guy at the end, a LIVING good guy.
Also I think him and Rey are related in some manner, now is she his sister? Cousin? That I can't guess at.

Probably, though I kind of hope not. As is, I'm perfectly comfortable with the idea that sometimes it just happens, even with good parents. Maybe you turn left instead of right one day... But while we all know that bad parents can screw a kid up, we also most of us know at least one person who had problems even with a really good family.
Even Luke might have been able to be turned if Vader had never killed Ben.
I kind of like how they played it in this movie: he went bad because stuff happens.
I partly say this because I found seeing Anakin get turned was very disappointing in ep3. Whereas, I actually like how Ren was played. I don't mind that he's darth emo. He's still young, still conflicted. The young and conflicted usually are a little emo. It's what they do sometimes.
Id hate to be trying to get around that ship with Rey flying the way she was. Best to stay in your seat. Remember BB-8 bouncing around.

Ive seen a few things that suggest Han will be back. I think it was the UK premiere with all the cast on stage and Kennedy said all actors on stage will return. Made me think cause Harrison was there. My guess is it will be very small cameo in flashbacks.

He's had worse ! Besides a solo Is never so dangerous as when there dead ! Lol seriously though just got back from the 3D version it was worth it if only for the opening crawl ! And instead of wondering why Chewie just walked by Leia this time I was pissed he did not give her a shove as he passed by her. I am sure he blames her for getting Han killed, as Han seemed to think Kylo was already lost and Leia told him there was a chance and to bring him back.
And I think I saw C3PO had his gold arm back at the end so he can shut up about his red one .lol
Also a few people were saying Kylo set his helmet in Vader's Ashe's but Vader:s head was in kylo's private chambers and the ashes were in the torture chamber room so it was probably some one who they desitegrated or whatnot unless he keeps parts of Vader in various places around the ship.
You know between all the jedi's killed around the galaxy there should be a few light sabers floating around on the black market .
