Not true, it was entirely possible to screw this release and re-launch of the franchise up. The instinct to try and do what's best for the shareholders is the correct one, the shareholders benefit from having the strongest release possible specifically for this film, their first out of the box. If this had hit with a 75% critical approval rating and a similar general audience reaction, had it not achieved box office records, not success, records mind you, if had not done what it is doing it would have been considered a failure. Perhaps because I do look at this from both a fandom entertain,net and business standpoint, but this was the clear narrative road they needed to follow. They needed fa,ilia rite to the point of excess to get people back o STAR WARS. Watch and enjoy e movie for what is accomplishes right out of the box as opposed to what you might think it should be.
