STAR WARS Rebels new animated series!

Oh man, I got a good chuckle from Chopper's interaction with the other droid at the end of Rebel Resolve.

Nice to see that Vader's look is pretty consistent with what you would expect it to be given the time period. The comics just can't seem to grasp the fact that his costume changes from movie to movie. Of course, ROTS didn't help matters.

While that may be the case the question is, were they intentional changes meaning, were they supposed to be changes that the audience was meant to notice or were they unintentional changes due to recreating the costume for each film and we weren't supposed to notice those changes?

No, I doubt the changes to the costume weren't ever intended to be noticed - although Vader's costume does go through a somewhat logical metamorphosis (at least in the OT). My main point is that it's nice to see that the people producing Rebels are paying attention to the details, regardless what the original intent was.

I really wish that his costume in epi 3 was a lot different than in the OT. Maybe only part of the helmet or something. It felt too perfect. As if the emperor had that thing sitting around already

link to a comparison?

Interesting in wRebel Resolve the Inquisitor fails to use dark side power to inflict pain on Kanan, instead he has to resort to machine created lightening. Maybe he's not so tough after all and Kanan is stronger, or at least the Ligth is.

and even though it looked cold, troopers can supposedly survive in vacum.

Oh but Wookie slavery is okay? There's a revolution coming. You'd better get ready, cause when you're out there crusing around in your righteous x-34 speeder, the lastthing you're gonna here is Mwwwwaarrrwww!!! Wookie rage!!! Wookie rage!!!

And what was that they did to Hera? No seriously, I have heard very little about how easily she was traded, and without question. It wasn't subtle either. Regardless of theintent, and it was pretty dodgy frankly, she was seen as purely cargo on the other side.

I'd prefer if Fulcrum was Mothma, after all we have zero real linking between TCW and ANH for her and yet she is the leader, and appears to have been for some time- I'd prefer Rebels to be focused on this small group and then the reveal that there is a much bigger picture and that they are not quite so cozy and safe as they appear- Tarkin was an amazing break in this comfortable end of season period..

But I fell in love with Ahsoka too, her final story arc was so real, and so fantastically against epic story telling ("well you survived this trial, here are your laurels" "no"). Sadly though because they didn't include enough Togruta in TCW now every time a set of montral as seen it's supposed to be her- Shaak Who?
