I wonder what the deal is with that clone...did they make that or is that fan made ? What didthe description say ?

That second E-11..."used in filming"? I dunno. A resin MGC with ANH detailing? Hmm.

Who used "organic" blasters in Ep II? Genosians?

Could you post or e-mail me the original full size pictures?

I would be really interested to get a better look at those blasters and light sabers, especially that weird resin stormtrooper blaster.

Thanks

Yeah no problem..my wife was going to kill me if I took anymore pics..:unsure

I did notice on the second blaster it does look resin but on the plate it stated metal maybe be a mix.

Thanks for uploading these.

My wife's nephew is coming down in a week or two and I was thinking of going there, but didn't know if they were real props or fan-made stuff passed off as the real thing.

I guess we'll be going now, as Johnson Space Center isn't far from me.

PS: Anyone else noticed that strange cone end on the Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber?

I know filming an action movie can be a bit rough on props, but *****! Is it standard Lucas Film procedure to throw the sabers into a clothes dryer with a few handfulls of gravel after the shoot is over?

That has shown up in other images before. It has three holes drilled in the end if I remember correctly. It was supposed to be the modified/rebuilt saber that Obi-Wan would use in the beginning scenes of Episode III, lose, and then construct the more traditional one used throughout the rest of the movie. For whatever reason, that was scratched and he used it throughout. I believe there are some publicity stills from pre-production that show it on his belt...

Since Markus isn't a member here, he wanted to post up about the clone. Yep, it's his ARC suit. He had less than a day after trooping two consecutive weekends at Disney World in Orlando to make repairs and ship it out to Houston. Originally, he thought it was going to be a couple of weeks and be on display at Kennedy, where he works. No biggie. The Monday after he was asked to lend it to LFL, he was told to have it at JSC by that Thursday! :angry

And, since again, two straight weekends in the FL heat pretty much destroyed the shoes he was already planning to overhaul, and the forearms and some other pieces, he had less than a day to figure out how to get it from pieces to "showroom" and out in a Fed Ex box :lol Also, we had to figure out how to keep his other clone troopable since this suit is going to be out in Texas through the animated movie premieres. Hence, the big "S" on the shoes, which were made from scratch in two hours from a pair of sketchers he found in a donation pile in the garage. And luckily, we're working on building my suit, so we had some extra parts he was able to steal :cry He also just happen to have some American Accents Ocean Blue laying around (since they don't make it anymore).

We both just wish we could actually get out there and see it. :unsure
