Star Wars Props at NASA WARNING 4 MEG image

We both just wish we could actually get out there and see it. :unsure

Well guys it looks great, thanks for sharing your props with the rest of us and thanks to all you that donate your props and time to these types of events. It helps keep the fantasy alive in our hearts!.....:thumbsup

Awesome photos thank so much for graciously sharing them. If you don't mind, may I recommend something to increase the chances of sharp photos in a situation like that where you don't want to use flash and it's low light. Brace the elbows against your chest and hold your breath when pushing the shutter button (or breath out slowly and gradually). Sometimes I'll rest the camera in the cup of the left hand like a monopod and use the right hand to keep it still when I press the button. Of course leaning on anything, wall, glass, girlfriend, helps too :). Not necessarily just for this case but in general for anyone trying to capture those rare props in their best light :thumbsup. So many great photos and such a great opportunity.

Thanks for all the photos!
Never knew about the OWK w/ 3 holes- interesting.

I find this part of the ROTJ E-11 most interesting b/c it shows a mould seamline on the bottom of the part,
whilst the upper part is smooth.

Cast in zinc from replica gun of some sort?

Where did the Organic blaster come from? I don't remember seeing that.

I believe it was some sort of prototype Geonosian weapon. It was previously on display at Celebration 2.

I'm curious about that 'stunt' Stormtrooper blaster.
I saw one like it once before, but I thought it was fan made.

That has shown up in other images before. It has three holes drilled in the end if I remember correctly. It was supposed to be the modified/rebuilt saber that Obi-Wan would use in the beginning scenes of Episode III, lose, and then construct the more traditional one used throughout the rest of the movie. For whatever reason, that was scratched and he used it throughout. I believe there are some publicity stills from pre-production that show it on his belt...

That's really interesting info! Where did you learn about that? Is it in one of the "making of" books?
