Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

I have heard rumors about a season 2, but nothing official yet.
Was just thinking, as far as I remember, Obi-Wan never knew anything about the death star, so his whole, thats no moon line, while a classic, really makes you wonder how he knew.
But, maybe if they do season 2, he could get a very brief word from someone that the empire is currently working on a secret massive weapon.
But I wouldn't want him to see it, a picture, or anymore details than that.
So by the time hes there on the Falcon trying to get Luke to Alderaan, that little memory would come back to him realizing that what the person said, was in fact true.
Just a thought.
Maybe one of the books or comics already covered that. Not sure.
Not sure but given he could use the force and we as an audience didnt know what the force was or how it worked, he could have sensed there were a ton of people on the death star and it was no “mere moon”.

The force can detect living beings since the force “connects us” and it provides a “danger sense” or “foresight” which is why Anakin can drive a pod racer with only 2 hands and why jedi have insane reflexes to deflect blaster bolts. These could he reasons why Obi Wan knows the Death Star is trouble.

I suppose theres that as well.
Having him only hear about the Empire working on a big deadly project, and then the 9 years later finally seeing it, I would think the force definitely brought that back, that sense of danger.
Just a very small, oh thats cool, type moment.
Disney would probably make it much more stupid and have him literally holding the death star plans and then somehow losing it by the end of the episode, and thats why he knows it not just a moon. But, lets hope not that bad at least.

I think if he did get word of it, it would be him just barely overhearing someone elses conversation that hes not even apart of.

The plans were on the giant screen or a holo (i forget) when he was on whatever that moon planet was Utappu? in ROTS when he was looking for Greivous? Or was it on Geonosis? One of those two (i haven't watch the prequels since they came came out really).

The plans were shown on Geonosis at the end of AOTC, but not when Obi-Wan was watching.

I did think of that, but not sure if he ever saw that. Can't remember though.

That's season 2 of Obi-Wan. He decides to travel around, and...
...and then decides against it because he remembers he is supposed to be keeping an eye out for Luke Skywalker who is hiding on a backwater planet that nobody ever, ever, ever goes to and that gallivanting around the galaxy would be a dereliction of that duty :p

Lollipops!...

I was the same way. I always thought that part was really boring as a kid (I was 3yo in 1980), mainly because it was slow and I don't think I really got what it meant. I absolutely loved Cloud City, the way it looked, so I was always wanting to get to that part.
I don't know feel like..
Feel like what
That we are being watched!..

I really disliked the whole little creature (Yoda) rummaging through Luke's supplies part as a thirteen year old child. It took us away from the excitement and chase of the millennium Falcon in the Asteroid field. Both the JWs exciting music and the Falcons engines were sublime to my young ears.

I stayed in our local cinema all day and watched all screenings to soak up the swoopy Cloud City and the falcon twist through the Clouds to look for Luke. The battle between luke and Vader still sends chills down my spine thinking about it even now..
