Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

Small part, but encouraging.

I recently purchased an album he did with the Berlin Philharmonic and it's great. I'm sure this theme will be amazing, even though the force theme has typically served as Obi-Wan's in film. I hope it will work as a kind of extension of that, but a brand new theme would be fun as well.

Binary Sunset or any of the various other names it goes by is my favorite single piece of soundtrack ever written. Star Wars played such a huge pet of my childhood, and to this day no other piece of music can ever summon the emotions that that one can.
I used to sit on the floor of my bedroom as a child playing his music on my Fisher Price record player. I completely understand you man.

The Force Theme/Binary Sunset has always spoken to my heart and always will. Those mournful french horns are just incredible. I had the pleasure of seeing John Williams perform a few years ago and I highly recommend anyone do so if they can. It was almost a religious experience to hear the music live and conducted by the man himself! Truly a kind, gentleman genius if there ever was one.

I really wish Ludwig Göransson would more strongly embrace John Williams' existing themes in these new shows, for continuity with the movies if nothing else.

My notables (aside from SW) >
ET: as amazing today as it was in 82.
Raiders Of The Lost Ark: no further comment.
Close Encounters Of The Third Kind: I ALWAYS listen to it EACH TIME I go out in the Mojave or High Desert with my truck.
Superman: fantastic.

We all love props and costumes and designs and all of that - and his scores are absolutely part of the experience of loving it :)

Those movies are incredible but more so because of the music. It is impossible to think of those movies without the emotional experience that John Williams conveys.
