Out of all the memes, this made me laugh the hardest. The simplicity. Lol.

It's even more sad when you consider what Lucas was able to actually achieve with what amounts to bubblegum, toothpicks, and Halloween masks back in the day. The Lucas era was top tier costuming; everything was amazing. Tons of high quality prosthetic make up. The Twi'lek's lekku, for instance, actually felt like they had weight to them in both the OT and PT. You can't tell me that what Ahsoka was doing was THAT much more intensive than Oola's dance routine. The lekku on the Disney Wars TV shows are so stiff, it's like they're made from LARP foam (which they probably are). There's cosplayers that really do a better job.I don’t expect him to look like he does in rebels so much as its jarring that his Original Rebels design is far closer to the E3 versions of his species than this new “Onion Head” version
I’m seeing this “but muh action scenes” excuse used a lot now in desparation for giving excuses for this stuff..
Where exactly are these amazing “action scenes” requiring these sacrifices in accuracy be made?
Watch the Ahsoka fight against the Magistrate again. Sure its cool.. the lightings great.. but its’ really NOT that dramatic, especially in fight choreography, even compared to Vader fighting in ESB... Nowhere in it do I see where would longer Lekku, say even just 4-5 inches longer, would have truly gotten in the way..
So yeah, I feell I’ll unfortunately have to call bull **** on this one… and just reassert my accusation that Disney StarWars is Lazy
I think its more likely that Ahsoka is simply one of the very first of the Lazy alien designs we got before Blue Nosferatu (Cad) and now Onion Head (GI)...

I think its Far more likely that, given what we’ve seen and know about some of the parts which we know they’ve previously ‘sourced’ from pre-made fan vendors, that they probably just bought or commissioned some Fan made Clone Wars style Ahsoka cosplay Lekku to use because that was far cheaper to do and already existed because, again, they’re Lazy, and it was probably also the cheapest option too. And thats why they look wrong compared to how she should look at this age.
But hey, I could just be a totally mistaken cynical ass![]()
And even then it's not a universal trick that works on everybody. Luke cloaked his presence from the Emperor, but not from Vader. Palpatine cloaked his presence from most of the Jedi, yet Mace Windu still could notice that the Dark Side surrounded the Chancellor. As much as I dislike discussing this film, in TLJ I think Luke masked his presence in the force from others and just chose not to use it more than he shut it off. He just didn't bother to correct Rey's observation. Luke also hid himself from the Emperor in ROTJ when he arrived on Endor, he certainly didn't shut off the force as he sensed Vader. Palpatine cloaked his presence in the force he didn't shut it off.
And yet still more accurate than Kenobi Grand Inquisitor.
But we don't really know how they stood up and whether not they experienced difficulties with them while or after filming that particular scene. For all we know, they had to do a lot of takes because of issues with the prosthetics while filming that scene. Or maybe they tore after a few takes and they had to replace them afterward for other scenes. It's even more sad when you consider what Lucas was able to actually achieve with what amounts to bubblegum, toothpicks, and Halloween masks back in the day. isn't her contract up in 2023?
So a nearly 40 year old make up effect that worked better in 1983 can't be improved upon in 2022? C'mon, that's just silly. Prosthetic make up is better than it's ever been. If they can do better, they should. But we don't really know how they stood and whether not they experienced difficulties with them while or after filming that particular scene. Right.I have lost count of how many times her contract was up, she was out, etc. by supposed insiders.
She is still here destroying S.W. and Indiana Jones.
She will never leave.
We saw more of a female Inquisitor we have never heard of than Obi Wan in his own trailer.
The fandom at large will never wake up to the fact that for the corporate world, it is the number of digits after the dollar sign that matters, not the length of the rant videos from fans. Kennedy makes LFL, and by extension Disney, a lot of money. So long as that keeps happening, she's staying right where she is.Right.
The franchise made a boatload of merch-money with Mando (Grogu). I'll even bet it made more merch-money than (at least) the last 2 sequel movies. And D+ subscriptions are up, mostly because of SW and Marvel shows. All under her supervision. She. Is. Not. Going. Anywhere.

yeah but she's pushing 70 now, she may be wanting to get out and retire.I have lost count of how many times her contract was up, she was out, etc. by supposed insiders.

Maybe Filoni and Fav will cast some sort of demon trap on her and lock her away in the archives like at the end of Indiana Jones.Evil never dies.

Yep. Sucks but true. The idea Disney would wipe out the sequel trilogy was also just wishful thinking on some fans part. Never gonna happen. They are quadrupling down.
I don't mean to be a downer but as a Mando fan I was really looking forward to BOBF and we know what a dumpster fire that was.
K.K. behind Obi Wan. I am not hopeful.
I truly hope I am wrong and it is better than anything we have seen.
The problem is: they believe it's actually good, and they're still swimming in money.Imagine how much they would make if it was actually good!
They could swim in the money.
