Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

Hayden's best performance was in Life as a House with Kevin Cline.
I like him in “awake” too.. when I met him I told him “you’re one lucky ******* to have kissed Jessica alba” and he smiled and chuckled away lol

I don’t blame his acting in Star Wars on him at all.. it was his guidance.. they just released the concept duel with him choking and throwing padme into the wall, then attacking obiwan..

The anger in his face was much more dark and angry then we got in ep3

No doubt Lucas told him to calm down, because it was dark!

Much rather have the concept fight then the fight we got

There was some great stuff in that version of the duel. Some bad stuff but far more interesting pacing and camera work too.

I think Hayden's got talent but it was squandered on some poor writing. That's cool you got to meet him. I'd happily meet him at a convention if I got the chance.
He was really nice, we had to wait 6 hours in line.. he did a panel, then had lunch then did a special walkthrough and group picture with the 501st

This was one of his first appearances in a wicked long time

Rhode Island is a really small con, so when the big names show up, then never come back because they don’t make enough to cover the costs, so when ever I see a big name on the roster I make sure I don’t miss it

Sure enough he’s never been back

Rhode Island Comic Con is the best. Just big enough to see a lot but not sensory overload like SDCC or NYCC.

I heard official trailer next week

Yeah he def wasn’t as marketable! Dooku was a farrrr more interesting character than Maul but Maul looked so darn cool! Wish George had given him a better name than “Dooku” though. I mean, seriously? Lol
We needed at least another five minutes of screen time..
Although I guess if they built him up too much the anticipation for a Vader might have been less..
I wish we had seen more if Anakin/Vader in the Ep3..it felt shoe horned with him simply rising from the table...and don't get me started about the trailer with Sideous saying "Rise" ..

More from the writer as well. You went from going off on who killed your mother (i mean, who wouldn't?), to being whiny about not getting what you deserve, straight to 'ok, i'll kill a bunch of elementary and pre-schoolers to maybe save my wife'. Just way to fast and unbelievable. And there wasn't really a descent, just falling off a cliff, and not just any cliff, but like that 5 mile deep canyon on mars type of cliff.
More like a back-lit into the edge of a rather hot puddle...
Not the Volcano it was mentioned back in 77..

They should have been bold..following him the whole movie, it is after all about him.
It wasn't really a thing back then but a guerilla style format might have worked..it was very choppy scene to scene like they realised they had to cram it All in..

I've always joked that Lucas's standard piece of direction of the cast of the prequel, with the exception of JarJar was to emote less. Every scene was like, "Cut! Do what you just did but with less emotion, less feeling.".

There's that classic clip of Mark Carrie and Harrison in SW asking George is happy with the shot...
He wasn't lol.. but hey he's a perfectionist and we got a great movie.

I don't think he was half the movie.

E2 and 3 should have largely been on him straddling the line, stepping over it, leaving it in the dust etc. We just got a whiner who lost it in the end. Nothing about it say scary or sad or emotional....you just thought, what an idiot.
