Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

Any theories why Obi-Wan didn't kill Vader even though he was swearing just minutes before that "Whether he dies or I do - it ends today?"
He sensed a feeling a feeling he'd not had in a very long time.. Mirroring Vader's line in ANH..

IIRC the Jedi did not believe in killing and would imprison the person.Maybe after OWK defeated Vader he realized how pathetic he was and let him live?

It did occur to me that Obi was living with a lot of guilt for killing his friend Anakin (or so he believed) so realizing that he didn't would somewhat have alleviated that - may not have wanted to go back to being the one who killed Anakin... even if in some ways it would be a mercy killing....

So it makes complete sense and at the same time is a complete WTF for me

Oh look... some youtuber making a buck on negative click bait thumbnails for angry Star Wars "fans"

I won't give him my time but lemme guess... it'll get KK fired... an insider says disneys stocks are plummeting and they're considering shutting down Star Wars at Disney parks... mass firing... they're rehiring Lucas so oversee all new projects....

Am I close?
Don't forget "Filoni/Favreau fraction is planning to retcon the Sequel Trilogy". Any time now...

Its hilarious to me that the person who claims to have "ignored" me still has the ability to comment about me and how others should approach my opinions. Just for the record, this same individual declared to quit the forum yet less than 6 months later continues to post. Such is life.
Yes, Disney Star Wars is garbage and I have yet to see a an explanation why Reva murdering potentially hundreds of Jedi to get to Vader make any sense at all. Anyone?
Are you talking about The Path? They're just collateral damage. She wants Obi-Wan so Vader will come to her. And Obi-Wan happens to be with The Path at the moment. So she's gonna play her role as an Inquisitor.

Again, you bring up that meaningless rubbish fan fiction. Where were these "Inqiuisitors" in the OT? Answer.....nowhere. Given that I except your post nonsense, which I dont. The premise is that this youngling is as mad at Anakin/Vader that she will murder as many Jedi/normal people as necesssary to get to Vader/Anakin as possible. This is rubbish. Utter rubbish. You may have a comic to explain this but I reject it totally.

I mean, if you're going to pick and choose which official canon you accept then I don't even know what your point is. The inquisitors have been canon since Rebels, wherever they ended up by the OT is immaterial to their presence in this show, which predates the OT in the timeline. If you're into picking the canon you like and discarding what you don't that's fine for you. But holding it up like it should be the one true canon and calling everything else nonsense and rubbish just makes me think you're only here to find folks to argue with.

Whatever man. Life's too short to spend time belittling the stuff other folks enjoy. I hope you find joy in whatever version of Star Wars you can bring yourself to stomach.

Show me where anything you are referring to relates back to the OT. You cant. Why arent these fantasies referred to in the first three movies? You are referencing fan fiction. nothing more.

Tell me where it relates to the first three movies.....*****, tell me where it relates to the first SIX movies. You cant. You have nothing.

It doesn't matter if if relates to the movies, because Rebels is canon too. You're setting up a false dichotomy wherein you posit that only the films are acceptable for canonical ties, and that's not the reality of the franchise. You don't have to like it, but Rebels and by extension the Inquisitors, is part of the canon. So take it or leave it, up to you. I'm not here to convince you of anything. The Inquisitors are part of canon, period. Like it or don't, agree with it or don't, that's all up to you dude. You substitute whichever reality you prefer in your brain.

So Star Wars is limited to what was in the OT? Or it's limited to just the OT? You do you. Imma going to go play KOTOR now.

Oh, and the Inquisitors we're first mentioned in the 1981 radio drama of the first Star Wars.

So if it's all rubbish, and no answer to your question is going to satisfy you. Why did you ask the question in the first place?

And no, the premise that someone can be so consumed by hate and revenge, which leads them to basically not care about the lives anyone, is not rubbish. That's literally what happens to someone who is so full of anger. They hurt everyone around them, even if they didn't intend to. I remember a certain young Jedi who slaughtered a bunch of kids to save his wife. Oh wait, that's not the OT. I guess that's rubbish too, my bad.

Lets face it, Hayden acted the crap out of the finale. As much as I liked Ricardo Montalban's performance in TWOK, Hayden's character was willing to risk anything through his hatred of the Jedi. Obsession beats talent every day. So I have to ask you, are you obsessed Darth?

Oh my goodness...i remember Mexican pizza in school....we have a pizza chain here where you can buy the exact same ones ...so good...anyways...move along....move along...lol
See you've gone and done it now mentioning the P word.
