I am finally working on mine and have a question about the neck ring.. It's obviously too big for his neck for a reason I imagine. Are you guys shimming them to get them to stay? Or just free standing it floating???

The neck rings would normally attached to the body, so the head would be smaller so it can move around inside it. I attached mine to the head by inserting wood discs in four spots and putting screws through them form the inside. Looks pretty good I think.

What skaught said but i have seen others put a disc under the neck ring and attach both to the disc.

But yeah its supposed to be attached to the body.

And no i dont have any before anyone asks.
