I'll stick with my laserdisc transfers onto DVD.
Me, too.

Here are 6 characters...so that the edit function will work.......?Didja guys happen to read the article on the new set where they discussed the 360 degree HD turnarounds? At first it was the least interesting extra I could imaginem however it sounds like many are models and props which have never been seen from those angles before, certainly not in HD, and specifically it's being pointed out by LFL that people who like doing scale SW models and props are going to have a wealth of new stuff they've never had before. Just saying is all. Also, there is some speculation based on an image and caption at one of the Sw.com sites that we may be back to the original Greedo scene :love Oh, and with along with the re-rotoscoped sabers and laser extension in ANH, please dear god let them have re-rotoed that craptacular looking opening shot to put the glow back into the lasers, the T4s engines, and brought the star field back from the dead.
Well, they sure as hell can't tell the truth. "We didn't give two ****s about the DVD version, so we just slapped whatever transfer we had laying around on there. What do you mean 'did I look at it first'?"I can't believe they're blaming the lightsaber screw up on the HD transfer.
And what makes you an authority on what really happened?
He's not only a Jedi...
HE'S FROM THE FUTURE! :eek
It says so right there in his board name! :angel
So instead they blame it on the "limited" color space of DVD, an excuse that 99% of the people will believe because they don't know any better.
Which makes this whole situation all the more stupider since those viewers who believe that rubbish probably own every other Star Wars related DVD release. Whether it's the live action prequel movies or an animated series, the lightsaber effects on those DVDs look fantastic. Yeah, I can totally see how it's the DVD format that caused all those problems.
:sleep
That one's easy.. when he's dead.why does it seem the older george gets, the more entrenched he is. hes never admitted to anything going wrong as far as star wars is concerned just that the "originals" dont meet his vision. even now hes tinkered with the prequels (cgi yoda in tpm). when will it end george? for all things holy when?
they have the "prequels" available separately, who would buy that toilet paper on a disk? I'd love to see sales numbers of the entire 6 movies vs. epi 4-6 vs. prequels
