Well we will make the run next month, just for the dome in kit form, cause right now there are people interesting. The only situation is once you pay you have to wait a month to get it.

From looking at the apparent patents for the BB8 droid mechanics, it appears that the internal sphero based mechanics run against an acrylic or hard rubber type ball with a painted rubber casing.
