Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

Holy Crap,....gives me hope for the franchise

The world building is unbelievable, the amount of new planets in the first 15 minutes, new craft, new characters with depth

(......meanwhile in Mando trailer we go back to Hoth?)

Watching this feels like Star Wars has broken out of its shrinking bubble

Interesting variation of the Tactical Concealment Cobra Hood. Seems more like a prop made copy than a real repurposed one. It may also be a knockoff of the original. There were many of those floating around for some time. It’s also commonly known as a sniper or ghillie hood.

I enjoyed most of all three episodes well enough.

Besides way too much Chandrilla wedding stuff, the episode 3 attempted rape scene wasn’t necessary. Could have just as easily been a fight without sexual assault.

Anyone get better shots of the TIE helmet from the L.A. premiere? Seems odd to attach hoses at the back of the helmet.

No, thought everything was just fine, the whole show is like a pressure pot

I'm almost done with episode 3. For me, this is almost as boring as season 1.
Who writes this garbage. Hopefully it gets better. But I don't have high hopes.

We watched the first two episodes last night and the third episode this evening. I’m not sure so far. I’m just in the middle, and that’s honestly okay with me. Interestingly enough, that’s how I felt until the end of season one, and that’s when I really felt things connected and made me enjoy it more, overall.

The experience so far has felt kind of like I was watching portions of different movies edited together.

Seeing Dedra out of her element was odd too.

I still say the real villain of Star Wars is the mom.

My one gripe (the prerequisite is that I have at least one) is the score of the series.

I have a real ear for soundtracks and this immediately struck me…

The EXACT SAME musical cues were used throughout the first three episodes—this was most notable when the same cue was used every time the “wheat / barley planet” scenes started.

One thing I like a lot about this series (Andor + R1) is the portrayal of Stormtroopers. They feel menacing and not just for cannon fodder.

Also the Sienar crew and test pilot flight suit are very cool. For us 501st members it's always great to have more toys to play with.

To me this show is like reading a big book, it takes it's time to get to the next chapter. It shows mundane things and not just the action and interesting parts (like comicbooks). For some of us it's refreshing and you get to see characters develop a lot more.

I personaly love this pace, world building, character development and story telling. But thats just me.
