Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

I think he played an MD in some little known UK show.

You know, it's been a while... but wasn't that the show where the MD had two "girlfriends" at various times, but one of them got amnesia and he had to leave her, and the other one left with his twin brother? If I remember correctly, he left the series while other MDs came and went but eventually decided to come back and work at the hospital for a little while longer. But he had gone through a lot of changes and was never quite the same, not sure of Who he really was.

I did think this was pretty cool to see: The Vintage Kenner Astromech Droid.

I think that's the one. He really must not have wanted to go.

For me, Hera looks like a really bad cosplay, as if they absolutely caked the makeup on. There’s something about her eyes that makes me cringe.

It's not just Hera for me, it's more about Ahsoka. The lack of eyebrows AND those 'alien' eyes seem to draw every acting out of her face. No real emotions. I understand that the character has no eyebrows too in the animated show, but they used her tattoos on her face to replace her missing brows, and in the result to show emotions.

And you are right about the eyes: it seems just wrong. Like... I don't know, a bad or amateur cosplay look? Hard to say.
I edited Ahsoka and Hera in Photoshop (really quick, I'm no expert, and I just want to give you an idea). For my taste it is a better solution, I don't expect others to like that too:

The way Hera was presented in the video game "Squadrons" is a clear indicator that more human-like eyes can work too.

Right now these design decisions and the fact that another character survived a direct lightsaber strike are the only things I'm bothering about. The effects look good, I like the slow pacing, and the show feels like a fresh taste of SW.

Then again, TBOBF showed us that you can be shot at point blank range right through the abdomen with everything inside instantly cauterized and it can be fixed by a few pistons, a little hydraulic fluid and an access door.

Lucas built an entire galaxy, and then Disney invaded it.
I’m quoting myself. How self aggrandizing

Also, Sabine was cured with a Bacta PATCH!

Seriously, she was RUN THROUGH with a lightsaber, but a patch fixed it all.

That’s some strong stuff. The Mandalorian was cured of severe brain trauma with just a quick external spray of the stuff.

You’d think that getting rid of Bacta would be the Empires top initiative.

Now that I am thinking about it, the show was dumb.

The Trailer had this wonderful beating music running through it... I've not heard it so far unless it's building on it like they did with Andor every week.
I like the visuals
Was the arrogant prison guard Vasquez mate in Aliens ?
Not having seen Rebels or much of Clone wars I liked it and looking forward to Ep3..

Well, Filoni did all of that on purpose. He's messing with you, the scamp!

LOL.

He probably say my Facebook post where I called him Filogna (the art of absolute bologna film making by a hack) and is now out to get me.

Roobyoo

Yes! Absolutely great small edits to make things more believable. I remember when someone made some slight changes to the FO Stormtrooper helmet, and it was so much better.

Some more Bacta ranting.

Luke was mauled by a Wampa and had to be fully submerged in a TANK full of Bacta.

His FACE was attacked and he needed this.

A lightsaber is run THROUGH a torso, burning and REMOVING everything in its patch, and a PATCH is all that’s needed.

To be fair... we only saw recovery not the actual healing process. The patch might have been the last step of the whole process.

I had the same thought. We don't know how much time passed between the end of part one and the opening of part two.

Also, Luke was attacked by an animal and subsequently spent the night stuffed in the carcass of another animal. Infection could have been a complication for Luke that Sabine didn't face here. However much time passed, it is clear she got medical attention -- at some sort of well-established, presumably well-equipped hospital — not the GFFA equivalent of a MASH unit — very quickly, which Luke obviously did not.

In other words, Sabine recovering from this particular lightsaber stabbing bothered me much less than some of the other similar saber wounds we've seen. In fact, the only reason it really bothered me at all was the immediate thought of how it would set off some people.

I agree. He was supposed to be this tragic figure but at the same time he's this powerful Jedi killer that inspires fear throughout the galaxy. If he's actually weak and others often do his dirty work it seems like he wouldn't have such a horrifying reputation. After Rogue One, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Disney era Rebels and newer comics I'm not quite sure what to think about him.
I disagree. While I'm sure that initially he was doing a lot of the work himself, as time went on and real or strong Jedi became few and far between, he decided to delegate the work to the Inquisitors. They probably came about as Vader encountering young Jedi, padawans, or just Jedi who were morally flexible who didn't want to go down with the ship as it were. So they either willingly offered their services to Vader or Vader convinced them to join him. So now they chase down all of the stories and rumors of surviving Jedi and if they aren't too powerful, take care of them for Vader. This leaves him free to take on additional responsibilities on behalf of the Emperor, things like suppressing the Rebellion as it starts to gain momentum.

He did Huyangs voice in TCW also.
Wasn’t “huyang” Al Pacino’s catchphrase in scent of a woman?

Also, exactly how old is Balin, if he was a padewan who escaped the Skywalker Special from Anakin? Was he a 30-year old padewan when he escaped? Was he the Bluto Blutarsky of the padewan academy? He took an extra 12 years to graduate? Maybe I missed something.
