Star Trek TOS Surfboard - which design do you like?

Building a 3/4 scale surfboard as a display piece. I’m still noodling on the graphics for the piece. I’d love feedback on my pencil sketches. Which do you like most and why? I’ve got a few in-progress shots of the board (made from pink sheet insulation) as I do my shaping, filling sanding and priming.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your encouragement and feedback. I’ve decided to go with a horizontal rather than vertical design.

The front will be more of a scene from the show and the back a cleaner design with basic elements. Here’s the final design for the front.

Been painting for a few days. Here’s a few progress shots.

The preliminary version of the top is complete. I need to add stars and darken a couple of areas where the paint is thin. I’m going to redo the rails, I’m going to ditch the red and do a gradient blue instead. I wasn’t happy with the look of the solar flare and changed it to a sun. The overall look feels more balanced.

Getting close to the finish line. Got the bottom done, repainted the rails and did some cleanup on the top paint work.

Need to get the pin striping done and add a clear coat.
