Star Trek TNG and Picard Props

I hope we get some new Tricorders and Phasers that are a logical evolution from what we've seen in Nemesis and don't go the whole, floating holograms route that every other sci-fi and fantasy series seem to go to. Save all that VFX money and lets have a prop that is functional with LEDs or fibreoptics that fits in with the established look.
Do what you want with Discovery and it's hand waving approach to continuity and any attempt to fit the timeline. I don't consider any part of that mess to be in-line with the rest of the legacy, hell from what I've read they had to reboot the show for the 2nd season and again for the 3rd. Maybe a better initial premise would have saved all of that.
At least they've got all the right elements in-place for Picard's return, namely Patrick and also Brent and Jeri. I just hope they get the tone and story to work since TNG was my 1st Star Trek series, there's a lot riding on this.

Very cool! I wonder how many of those are original? I thought the real flute was auctioned off in that big ST auction years ago?

If they'd give them the licensing permissions, work network negotiating , and some not small asthetic changes the orville could be the best star trek since ds9

Sorry didn't mean to veer off topic. That command jumpsuit looks amazing on the mannequin. It looks like Picard's exact physique. Such a cool display set up
I wish we could get a licensed TNG Phaser. The MR First Contact version is nearly impossible to find.
I had numerous chances to by the MR First Contact Phaser directly from MR but I was only interested in TOS at the time so I wouldn't buy one. By the time I was interested they were going for $500-$600 and I just didn't want to pay that much. Now I'm kicking myself for never getting one. I do have one of Myron's beautiful replica's with Gerry's electronics but I you I would love to see a licensed one. That is another thing that Anovos screwed up with. When they first got the Star Trek license they announced a whole range of Phaser props from the TNG movies and then never mentioned them again, I even sent emails asking about them but never heard back from them, big surprise there.
I regret passing up on the First Contact Phaser when I didn't have the funds. Now I look on evilbay every once and a while but nothing pops up.
And agreed I remember they were supposed to make the Phaser rifle replica among others.
Like with Star Wars replicas, Star Trek seems to be few and far between.
You see them every so often but like all other MR products the prices are so high I could never justify paying what people want. The last one I saw on the bay was for $600 but it was only the Phaser without the stand or anything else that came with it from MR. If they do show up at decent prices they are snapped up real quick.
It may get a re-release, if the new Picard series is popular and triggers renewed interest in TNG era props, it could happen, but don't hold your breath. With all of the stupid splitting of assets between CBS and Paramount it may make licensing older props difficult.
Yea everytime I found one I didn't have the cash readily available. I saw an SE phaser go for $800 or so last time I checked.
I wouldn't find if Factory Entertainment got the license. They seem to be the most competent of the few licensed replica holders for movies.
Master Replicas Group would be ideal but I don't think they will pursue it.

What about the cobra phaser from Diamond Select? They still releasing that?
Fingers crossed it will still make it to release, along with a Tricorder or two.
I'm hoping we get a reasonably priced Ressikan flute re-release. It is such an iconic prop associated with Picard.
I had forgotten about that but I'll be getting it if they ever do release it.
