Hey guys,

For those of you who dont know me too well, I recently purchased my first home. I decided to turn the small third bedroom into a little prop room. I should have used a bigger bedroom, because there still isnt enough room for all my goodies. Tripper has been asking me to take a video to see how its coming along for some time now and I finally did... Figured Id share it with everyone!

*WARNING* I suggest turning off the sound (or turn it down really low) when you watch this. All the beeping and bleeping is super obnoxious!

Enjoy!

No, not everything was on. I stopped when the headache started from SFX overload. Plus it was my first YouTube vido and my camera is still MIA so I was trying to figure out how to use his camera.

Which rifle? Got three FC rifles in this video. Do you mean the one you could have had? :p

Re: Star Trek Collection Video

Very nice. Even with your warning, I still got a headache.

I loved the Enterprise-E model. Did you make it yourself?

An amazing collection! (y)thumbsup

Love the Enterprise-E model, it's beautiful. :love

Re: Star Trek Collection Video

All I can say is WOW! Very impressive. I'm quite jealous!!

Re: Star Trek Collection Video

Thanks all!

The Ent-E is a REL kit and was built by John Eblan and his team at The FX Company. If anyone has some $,$$$ to spend on great models look em up. John is a very nice guy, does great work, and is passionate about his builds. Tell him I sent you (I need brownie points for my upcoming LCARS display project). Check out their website, http://www.thefxcompany.com

-E-, welcome to the forum. Dont be jealous, just keep on collecting. Ive been at this for a year or two already. I saw your dustbuster, so you already have a one up on me since my modeling skills are nonexistent. Besides, you could just buy some of the props from the video (shamless plug). Check out my post in the junkyard.

Re: Star Trek Collection Video

Incredible collection, top notch display too, LOVE the Enterprise E, I would leave that thing on all the time, and what a beautiful looking cage laser! ;)

Re: Star Trek Collection Video

Thanks Moo... I dont know about perfect. Thats not everything, I need more room for displays, and there is still a laundry list of goodies I want. I just recently got into TOS props, so that opens up a whole new world. Plus it seems like alot of projects are just wrapping up for me, and we will be getting into prop season in about 2-3 months, so there is still alot on the way.

Go back and rewatch the video. I was bored and very annoyed by the beeps & bleeps, so I redid the video.

You should put in some pipes against a wall labeled GNDN. Easy and hilarious.

Now that that's out of the way. HOLY CRAP! I love that collection! I'm about to start building a tricorder, so I was particularly impressed with those. The most impressive thing though is definitely the Ent-E. I've never liked that ship, until now. Your model has changed my mind on that ship design. Absolutely beautiful.

Wow, that is super impressive. Awesome collection, thanks for sharing!

I'm very envious!!

Thanks Jason,

That means alot to me coming from you. I have always loved your collection, not to mention your ability to take great pics of your props. I was just watching your props power point, and I was envious! The rooms just getting started, there are lots of things on the way already. I wish I could find STIII and STV tricorders like yours. I used to have Arron Mack as a hook up back in the day, but didnt realize at the time (I think I was in high school) just how lucky I was to cross paths with him. Dont suppose you have his current contact info???

Really impressive collection! Nicely displayed not just thrown on a shelf! Where did you get the Mk X Med Tri case from? Looks like an MR one but I thought they only did a science version? Love your Ent-E too!

I don't have his contact info unfortunately. He did great work though!! The III and V trics are hard to come by. I searched for years to find them. I never thought I'd end up with a working V.

Your model ships look fantastic!! I'm not a model collector but WOW!

Whooo... Im a mate!

Damster...that is a MR display case for the MK X Med, just not a MR Tricorder in it. That tricorder (as are most of the ones in this video) is a Stapleton. Oddly enough, as hard as it was to get that one MR piece, I have a ton of the display cases. If I can find a good place for more shelves I figured I also put the MK X and the Nemesis style MK XI in those cases and display them side by side.

Jason...Yea, I remember when I was first getting into PADDs and Arron send me a few TNG ones. I remember being bummed that the graphics had all those weird square pixels on em...not even knowing then that they were right off the art dept's work table. Wish I would have held on to some of the stuff from him. Every now and then I shoot an e-mail off to his old address, but I havent heard back in years. Besides, I doubt he even has access to the stuff like he used to.

Lost In Trek...which rifle? The HMS round-barrel has working side red LEDS, a light up emitter tip, light up scope light (front top and back), working power indicator, and SFX. The darker painted round barrel on the lower shelf is an AIM prop with a working front scope light. Its actually really bright, but needs a battery change. The EVA is static and solid resin, but would do some serious damage to a borg if you hit it over the head with the thing. The nemesis rifle and voyager compression rifle (not in the video) both have working scope lights too.
