The tunes make the man, and now you can get your ravager mitts on one of the most accurate replicas of Star-Lord's iconic prop from Guardians of the Galaxy.
I AM GROOT. (Translation: Enough chit chat, let's take a look at one of these bad boys)
The Tapes
• The tapes are the proper brand, as you can tell by the dots and logo swirl peeking out under the label.
• They are smoke colored (Which I believe to be more accurate than the completely clear ones)
• 60 minute length...the perfect amount of space to put a fairly awesome collection of music on it if you so choose.
• Will come in the original case these tapes were sold in for protection during shipping
• THESE TAPES ARE BLANK! There will be no music on them.
The Labels
• The labels have been faithfully reproduced by me, and are not based on any of the templates that have been floating around.
• They are a light cream color to match their appearance on screen as closely as possible without looking overly yellow or too white.
• I've faithfully recreated the "bleed" on the edges of the red stripes, just as the real tape has!
• Printed onto a thin, sticker paper, very similar in weight to a real tape label.
• The bottom left corner is actually damaged by hand, rather than printed on, to make it really look "handled."
• The writing on every label is HAND WRITTEN in a fine tip blue marker so there is no aliasing on the writing, the color is correct, and the ink bleeds properly.
The Price
Each tape is $17.50+Shipping, and you are limited to 1 per person so that as many people as possible can get their hands on one of the coolest props in the galaxy.
I have 14 for sure, and potentially 18. I will cap my list at 18, unless I am able to secure another batch of these.
...also, please! If you have already received one of Kevin Gossett's tapes, do not put your name on this list, that way as many people as possible have a chance to own one of these bad boys!
