I'm honestly not sure what I'll be using for padding, I have no padding installed in the image from my post above, but I am open to any suggestions from any fellow RPF'ers.

Matt, how much after prep do these helmets require? I'm a novice to finishing so can you just paint this thing up and paint it after receiving it or just it require a lot more work?

It's a good bit of work. This helmet requires you to cut it in half unless you have a very small head. There's a lot of trimming and cutting involved as well as filling and sanding.

You use some type of filler (putty, wood glue, super glue, etc...) To fill any air bubbles or divots in the cast

That doesn't sound too difficult. Right now I don't have any tools though I plan on buying a Dremel soon. I wonder if he'll do a third run?

Got mine yesterday. I can't believe how gorgeous this thing is! Beats my pep helmet by a mile.
