i would as wel like one, but will it be 100% done or will paint and etc have to be done, im no good at all at crafting an trying to get my Star Lord ready for Oct

I'm interested, but I would need it within the month so I can finish and paint it for dragon con at the end of August. Is that timeline possible?

The helmet does not come painted, please read back a page or two for more info, others are available for paint work

Not sure at this point. We're going to try our best to get the run going, watch the thread closely, I'd even recommend subscribing. I'm planning on going to help TheRocketeer with the molding, but I'm not sure if that will speed things up, or slow him down...

It's been my experience that lotsa people say they are interested, but when it comes to "coughing up the dough", it ends up being maybe a 50% turnout...

Instead of answering a dozen PMs separately, I'll try to respond here. There will be some pics of the finished helmet (at least the one we'll use to make the mold) in the next week. We'll start asking for a $75.00 non-refundable deposit after the images have been posted. If you like what you see, then it'll be up to you to commit. As far as finishing work, I'm not doing any, I'm not sure if TheRocketeer is, but others here have offered their service.
There are some small details to figure out still (the red eyes, the head strap, how much cleanup the final cast will need) and for that, I'm trusting TheRocketeer's excellent past record.
He will also handle the payments and the shipping, with me helping as much as I can. I have 5 of his previous helmets, as I know a lot of you do also, and there is no one better to handle the casting of this helmet.

okay! I will be in this, my last question is do you think it wou;d be completed in time for the end of october, thats when i go to my con! Cant wait to see what the mold will look like and i will put my deposit down if i can get it in time! Thanks so much, Also if you guys decide to do the blasters well thatd be dandy

It really depends on how well things go.. plus you would need to be part of the run to get a helmet....
Also deposits will be collected long before the mold is done.

yes i know i would like to be part of the run, I was just stating i will see what the picture looks like when the new picture is posted and will decide by then! if there are only 10-15 in the first run hopfully i would get it in time.
