Stalhrim quiver - WIP

Anime USA and Otakon are rapidly approaching! My husband wanted to get in on the armor-wearing action, so I'm making him a suit of Deathbrand armor. I wasn't sure how I'd make the stalhrim effect, so I thought I'd make a stalhrim quiver as a sort of practice run, since he wanted a bow anyway.

Here's the build:

I built up the stalhrim parts with hot glue. Then, for some reason I Plasti-dipped too early and painted the "metal". I suppose it doesn't really matter either way though.

I added tin foil (WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT) to finish the stalhrim texture, then went over it in clear acrylic spray.

The blue Rub N' Buff I ordered won't be here until the 5th. Now I'm kind of wondering if I should use a blue tint (like Mod Podge tint) instead. Any ideas?? I'd really like some input. The Rub N' Buff is called "Blue Pearl" and it's kind of a different color than what the stalhrim looks like in the game, but I think it will give a nice effect with the shimmery-ness. However, I've never used the Mod Podge tint and I'm concerned that it will look chinsy.
