I've made a few panels, but I can't help you with the exact colours, I just found varying shades of grey at the hardware store and used that.

Could be lousy pics... or maybe my eyes just fooling me - but some of the auction photos I've seen for screen used panels look similar to the grey used for TNG props... only metalic?
Here's a few shots of set pieces from itsawrap (I have them all saved to file.)
Now that I've taken a closer look, I almost want to say it's a printed vinyl application over black acrylic with a rough textured clear coat varnish.
They had to use some paint though, as a lot of items (like the smaller wall coms and universal translators) were found items that needed painted.

Cool, thanks for the head's up. Any thoughts on what the little blue hemisphere is? And what the font of the numbers and labeling is?
