I can go measure if you wanted to change it Michael, it was a while ago i cut mine in the drill press, but yes, id say you maybe have 10mm more than you should have.....that said, its your baby bro, leave it alone, thats the joy on this build, you don't have to get all callipers and math, its going to look pretty darn original!

I was thinking the same I glued them on there
in a ignorance is bliss kind of way, and it's not
the filming miniature I am making. When I got
home last night I looked at it, it didn't make
my skin crawl I was still happy with it......so
I think I will leave it alone. If I was making the
movie version I would have no choice.:lol

I enjoy painting but I am not great at it......
like we say "I could leave it in primer and move
on!" thumbsup When Guy got done painting
his A-wing I was like well..."I will just paint mine
and kind of put it on the shelf when it's finished one day!" LOL
I am just gonna watch and learn as the good painters
do theirs and try to learn a few tricks!

Well I worked on the gun mount and I ripped
off the legs eggs containers and took off 15mm....thumbsup
Just when I thought I was gonna leave them alone!

For the guns I used the cannons from the Mk2 Viper
they looked ok still have a little detailing to do on
them.

I am posting a picture thinking the bottom of
the legs egg container is used for the maneuvering
ring? If so how much do I cut off of it, if any of you guys
with a SS kit would chime in that would be great.:thumbsup
I am looking for the measurement in the picture indicated by
the pencil mark in MM's would be great thanks guys!:thumbsup

A little Pea shooter action and I made the bulkhead that
they attach to that wasn't really fun.:unsure

If any of you guys know the measurement pictured
here with the pencil mark I made that would be great!:thumbsup
I am trying to figure out how much to take off the bottom
of the legs eggs container for the ring in the back.

Ok the cutting went well if you want to
cut yours like I did I used the 2 1/4 inch
template it got me around 21mm.

Ok I got my Plastruct order in for the T stock runners.
I figured they would need to be but didn't notice in
the catalog they came in 24inch lengths. You can see
where they join at 12 inches was wondering if the cut off
length is there at 12 inches? Any help would be appreciated
