All done for now!
Three coats seems PERFECT. Like it is a built in shoe even.
Side view (nice and flat):
Angled (VERY nice layers)
I will be doing a paintbrush touch-up (like I mentioned in my last pic post) to make a more apparent contrast between sole and suit.
So after taking my feet out of the suit and turning it inside out, I found that the sole had gone through quite a bit and created a very good surface to step on. It's very sturdy.
UP CLOSE:
I am very happy with my decision for the soles.
NOW, just to note, this will be good for poses, walking around, and some cool acrobatics. BUT, for any dancing, breakdancing, and other stuff I will do, I will be putting a black ankle sock over the feet and going with a nice pair of red converse.
Though tacky, the suit would definitely not be able to withstand even a simple moonwalk with those rubbery soles.
See you next time once I get my face shell and lenses in from TJack (probably tomorrow or Friday).
Cheers!

Do you think flex deal will do the same job?
I've never used Flex Seal before, so if you went the spray on/paint on rubber sole process, I would recommend getting Plasti-Dip spray or the can of it to paint on.
It's actually pretty affordable and you won't use up even one can.
