Spiderman suit sliding on faceshell

Hey everyone

Can someone enlighten me with my problem?
I have a spiderman suit and I am trying to use it with my faceshell.
Every time I look down. I can feel the suit sliding up, resulting my eyes around my forehead
It looks terrible!!

I have googled this and I have found a video of someone mentioning seam grip and masking tape.
I also did a search here and I can't find anything.
Is there anything else I can try or is seam grip my only option?

Any ideas will be brilliant
Thanks

I use magnetic lenses, so I'm not sure if this will help you, but I used a tiny circle of velcro in between the eyes to help, soft side on the shell so it doesn't accidentally scratch the suit fabric.

It's slightly noticeable, but it keeps things in place well enough. Maybe you can use it on the edges of the mask instead.

What I did is I put magnets on the fabric as well with my face shell. So the magnets are on the face shell, the fabric connects to the magnets on the face shell, and the lenses connect to the magnets on the fabric. Haven't had any problems since.

My problem is the lens are on the suit. So I can't add magnets :(
I need so add something to the faceshell that will give it some grip but not doing any damage to the fabric.

If you're willing, you could just glue the face shell to the mask. Though that would be an absolute waste... Have you tried the velcro thing that ednonymous suggested? You could glue the velcro to the inside of the lenses and the other side to the shell

Thanks for the reply

I don't really want to go anywhere near Velcro. I accidentally touched Velcro with my other suit and it pulled a bit of white threads out and now I have a white patch. It could be my other suit isn't printed on a decent fabric but I still won't want to repeat.

I just had an idea. How about those white carpet non slip stuff. Not the typical non slips mat which like like loads of bumps. The flat white stuff design for rugs??

Perhaps ask at a fabric shop. I've got a pair of suit pants that have a small patch sewn inside the waist band on each side that has a rubberized grip on them. The idea is it stops your shirt from riding up and untucking as you move during the day. A couple of these on the inside of the fabric or outside of the face shell would perhaps help and not spoil the external appearance.

plastip dip the base shell, it will create grip and prevent the mask slipping one bit. always give that tip when I hit cons with my mcfarlane suit

Might be slightly off topic (but it's still related to faceshells), but I'm about to order my spiderman costume/mask and I didn't know how much extra space to add to my head size measurement with a faceshell. My head is 23 inches, so should i add an extra inch or 2 to that measurement to compensate for the faceshell? Any help would be great.
