Spiderman Noir costume(In the works and pics galore)

Holy smokes that Rorschach is INCREDIBLE! Did you make the mask yourself? Of course your spidey is super amazing and unique as well, you must have been the only guy there with that costume huh?

yeah I was the only spiderman noir at comic con, it was bitchin being the first one to attempt this costume

for the rorschach mask I got it from a individual by the name of IAMTHEACEOFSPADES, he did a run on a different forum about a year ago, don't know if he is still doing them, Ive gone through several different masks in the past and the one I use currently is my favorite because of the way it sits on my face and the texture of it

FANTASTIC costume. I've been planning on making one of these since I read the comic. Playing the game just made me want to do it more. It's nice having the comics and the game as source material, but I think I'm gonna go more the comic route rather than the game. I like the trenchcoat, and I'm hoping I can find some decent ones since the whole "Matrix" thing is kinda burned out. :)

What material (other than the stitching) did you use for the mask? I'm planning on getting one of the face shells, but I've had a hard time finding the right material for the mask.

Awesome. Did you use a pattern or some other way to just make it straight from the material, or is it a modified off the rack hood type deal? Was looking around to see if I could find a Spider-Man mask pattern and just make the hood out of the lycra material, but no luck so far.

its just a standard mask pattern, actually borrowed it from my Rorschach mask which was made by a friend

On the subject, Did the friend of yours use a pattern for the vest? cause I've been looking for one everywhere with no luck.
By the way, your costumes are all awesome.(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

because of the complexity and stylizing of the vest, there is no existing pattern that would have all of the properties that it should have, therefore it was built from scratch, first a mock 1/4:1 size was made, then a 1:1 size for me to try on, after all of the proportions and everything was 100% then the mock was dis configured and used as patterns to make the final piece. you might find a few patterns that will be double breasted or have a collar e.t.c. e.t.c but you wont find one that has all of these elements plus the fact that the back panel stitching and pieces are nothing like a real vest would be

Thank you. I'll see what I can do. By the way, what material did you guys use for it?

Impressive, never heard about "Spiderman Noir" before now. So glad I checked this thread out.

Keep up the good work!
