Hi All,
I did the Frutto Technologies (now also sold by GPStar) bargraph upgrade on my 84 wand a while back and whilst it looked amazing, the process of cutting up the clear part left a lot to be desired and the optional printed part wasn't a great fit either.
Having got a 3D printer during the Black Friday sale at Bambu, I set about remaking the inner frame of the Neutrona wand, but designed to house the new bargraph, making it a much easier fit (you still need to do a small amount of soldering).
This is what I came up with:
This is the second version I've published, as I wanted to make the light hats look more realistic for home printing and let more light through, so redesigned those too, to look more like cliplites.
The clear one looks like this printed with PETG translucent
Assembled you get this (before putting the bargraph in)
You can see I made the vent cover a separate item, as some people have removed the cover when upgrading to make it more accurate, I quite like the defused / can't drop anything in there look personally
This is what it now looks like all lit up
For those that haven't seen the bargraph mod in action, here it is with my v1 holder
and a tiny clip of the v2 where I printed the slo-blo light in red translucent PLA, you can see how much brighter the LED's now glow;
Files available free here: Spengler Neutrona wall Fruit bar graph frame v2 by Dave W
Hopefully for anyone considering this mod, this makes it easier for you, both my wands now have the mod and doing it the second time over with this was a tonne simpler!
Dave.
