Welcome, I am Galeregil, and I thank you for allowing me to join this awesome place! I hope my rather basic builds will be worth your time, and thanks for taking a look at my thread!
The Plan
I'm hoping to build a set of Space Marine armour mould pieces suitable for (relatively) rapid Vacuum-forming of several sets of armour. The hope is to have about five sets ready for Games Day (UK) 2014, constituting a Space Marine combat squad, preferably with at least 1 heavy weapon in addition to three standard Bolters, and 1 sergeant with a Bolt Pistol and Chainsword. After finding some excellent Pep templates over at the Obscurus Cascade (I won't post the link until I'm a full member, just in case that counts as "advertising"), and with my plan heavily based on a most definitely excellent instructable, here is a quick step-by-step plan:
Step 1: Make card forms of the armour sections, using the Pep plans I have already acquired
Step 2: Reinforce with Resin/Fibreglass, such as to make it strong enough for use as Vacuum forming mould
Step 3: Cut the armour sections up (if necessary) to make Vacuum forming moulds
Step 4: Vacuum form!

21st December 2013 - Helmet 3/4 Finished. Run out of glue.
1st January - First Helmet finished.
3rd January - Second Helmet started
5th January - Second helmet finished
