Southeastern prop party thread?

I don't know, maybe this wasn't the right place to ask this, but I though it might be better than adding yet another PM to a busy mods inbox, but are you telling me that after several weeks someone can't answer my question? The thread for our prop party was deleted, just wanted to know why, thanks.

Found my answer in the announcement section, it didn't have a set date. Still, I think the topic starter(me) should have gotten a PM or something explaining why it was deleted seeing as it had already been made s sticky, I don't always get around to all the various nooks and crannies on a regular basis.

It wasn't deleted, it was unstickied and therefore returned to it's normal place in date order.

As the thread starter you should look in your own post history and do a little research on your own around before you ask others to do the work for you, make accusations, and start complaining.

I didn't make any "accusations", that's a bit heavy language I think. I saw the thread gone after it had been made a sticky, it really never occurred to me that it had been "unstickied". A short and simple reply WHEN I originally asked the question would have been sufficient. I did look all around for it, just didn't think of that. No worries though.

accusation
noun
An assertion that someone is guilty of a fault or offence.

Still, I think the topic starter(me) should have gotten a PM or something explaining why it was deleted...

That is an accusation. There was no question about what else might have happened, just a statement that we deleted the thread. If there was any heavy language it was you.

As for the response time, we apologize for that.

What happened to the sticky for our prop party that was in the prop forum?

This was the first question, which remained by itself for nearly one month without a response, no "accusations" there as you can see, at least according to Marriam Webster. I wasn't upset about whatever had happened to the thread one way or the other, just wanted to know, and as I said I hadn't considered "unstickying". What upset me was that within a months time nobody gave me a response. I know you guys are busy, but I haven't exactly been high maintenance in my five years here. Guess I didn't have my thinking cap on in regards to my problem, but I simply felt as though I was purposefully ignored. That may not be the case, but either way, sorry for all the trouble, it certainly won't ever happen again.

I do understand the frustration with the seriously delayed response. I assure there was no intentional ignoring of your question. Reasons/excuses don't matter, I just missed it. :(

Nightrider are you getting all righteous??? Just kidding Chris.......LOL. I don't think your logic is out of line. I am reading this situation the same as you. When something is "stickied" it needs to be brought to the attention of the thread starter via PM if it's removed for whatever reason. I wouldn't think that is an unreasonable expectation. The delayed responses, however, things just happen. I'm sure with a million PMs per day something will ultimately get misplaced.

So Chris, where are we on a date/time for this thing???

Dave :)
