This is the studio miniature made for the upcoming sci-fi feature Somnus. The main frame using styrene sheet all fed onto a copper tube. This was then embellished with kit bashing. It only took under a week to complete as we were on a tight schedule, and it cost under £80 just for a few bits from eBay. The model was then lit quickly with sets of battery operated fairy lights. I think, an effective model, I will post the finished shots when the visual effects are completed.
