Some Recent works on Iron Man 2 replica : MARK IV / VI Statue / Armor W.I.P

I got the new batch prints in hand now, they came out really sharp in detail printed from Shapeways
So this is the pelvis area front & back with extending flap for some size range
Hip plate will be stay close to pelvis armor.

And we have the hand plate/glove printed in parts to let palms easier to get in, wrist should end up with rubber/silicon material. will see which works best.
This is the new forearm reprint with 2 piece parts to get better assembly and not destroying the overall profile for just letting fist to goes in
I will be continue to making design change if needed and print them for master Cheers!

Thigh armor remodeling, as we thinking about making the possibility of calf muscle might bigger in size than knee size for some guys...
That would be a pain for putting the parts on, so we put it in 2 piece part with flaps design, hinge system can be installed to the inseam and out seam with magnet
I was doing slow on this as there are too many detail at the separation lines, just can't figure out how to model immediately lol...
Sorting out one by one when we foresee any posible issue, cheers!

Guys , thanks for following our IRON MAN ARMOR WORK , we have some good news here :
i just got confirmed with a project for a private collector exhibition hall , so we confirmed to make few more IRON MAN ARMOR STATUES , and few are HUGE and Massive Statue that u cant find in the market ..... lol.... So due to the rush and busy schedule , i wont be posting step by step update on the new statues and armor that we are making , but i will update with some pics of W.I.P . Im very excited and we will have more IRON MAN to play with soon . Its definitely Hall of armors . Stay Tuned .

More pieces in progress of smoothing the printed parts , need more time and patience on this ..... especially the forearm detail..

Hey Guys , finally back to the props world and this MARK 43 suit update. I will have lots to share with u guys my previous work on these passed 9 months , we have been built the whole army of Stark industries ...lol..... anyway will share with u all the passed work and process .
Would like to keep my update for the MARK 43 , heres the lower parts and its the final batch of printed parts to complete the full suit. Now we have all parts completed , just need to clean these parts and we are ready to cast the first suit .
Hope u will like the details and sharp line of the pieces , 3D model by my best buddy , he did awesome work as always .
Here are all parts molded , and the final printed parts .

Thanks . I use the fine putty filler which is grey in color and 2k primer , of course will need more sanding and few layers to get the result .
