Have you tried adding some Liquid Latex to the paint for the Waist and Neck pieces?
I know when I painted up my Pred suit, I had the same trouble with cracking if I used paint alone, but when I added some Liquid Latex to the paint and painted the suit, no more cracking.

Just a suggestion that you may like to try out

thanks , be patient bro, the 1st master armor is the most difficult and takes lot of time , tears:cry , tired:sick and many more trouble ......... after we have settle a full set complete armor :cool , than will be easier for the rest ....

The paint is similar to the helmets .... but my friend now try to custom make a new paint for me , hope the paint will be more flex on the P.U rubber
