Some of the earliest color motion picture film you will see

Very cool!!!

Kodachrome was the best film they ever made.

I was extremely disappointed when they discontinued it for their super8 format a few years ago. I still used it.

That was some really good quality. Pretty soon there won't be any film companies because digital will take over and i'll have to teach my parents how to use a digital >.<

They thought that years ago, but film has a loyal following that just won't go away.

But I too think that eventually it will be gone, just not in the immediate future.

Very cool. I've seen a lot of early colour film but most of it back then was hand inked. Neat to see actual colour tests.

The two musical pieces on that clip are great. It's also refreshing to see people of this era acting somewhat normal. Most of what we see from that time are creepy black and white pics. And just think, they grew old. Maybe the little boy is still alive, but if he is, he's an old man.

As someone pointed in the comments of the video, the last woman is Mae Murray. I thought she looked familiar, but I had no clue what her name was.

Mae Murray has been credited with Dunking donuts in your coffee. She accidentally dropped one into her coffee at a deli on Broadway

I was saying something similar to my wife. Whenever I saw pics from those times everybody was wearing black, white or gray, and nobody looked happy.

Another thing that struck me was the styles of fashion, accessory, and make-up. I've never seen anything depicting the period that looked like that. I realized there are sudlties to every fashion period that are almost impossible to recreate(even to those of us that lived through them). You can only capture it when it's going on around you.

It's a Kodak moment:lol.
