A few people have asked so I figured I'd post shots of some of my collection of sonics before I sacked out for the night. This isn't everything but it's...something...well, three things...and a lizard:

The first one I ever had made (by Jim Parks of Parks Sabers):

It has a sound package done by Hyperdyne Labs. You can see in in action here http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/misc/sonic.avi

Next some works of the famous RogueScout including the other sonic in my collection with one of Hype's sound systems:

"Inspired By" pocket watch using the same Casio Twin Graph II that was used in the pocket watch from Silver Nemesis and a Seal of Rassilon made by Megatron:

My McGann costume. I've lost about 20-25 pounds and cut my hair since this was taken. I'm also working on getting a new and much more accurate coat made but the vest is the exact same material that was used for the original:

For those that don't mind a massive image here's a link to a 3.8 meg shot of my Roguescout sonic, scarf, pocket watch and several of my Tardis Keys including Megatron's perfect McCoy:

The McCoy key is so good that when I met Sylvester McCoy and showed it to him he exclaimed without hesitation "That's MY key! Where did you get that?" If I owned two I would have given him one.

I always loved that Parks Sonic. I wanted to order one and asked about one...but I was told like $400.00 D:

Now THAT is what I'm talking about! Those really are nice shots! i love the collapsible design. I just wish there was some way to make the activator sleve work too.

That is excellent! I'm actually working on getting a plain antique brass pocket watch where I can put a set of guts from a round faced blue LED binary watch in it behind some dark tinted glass. It's a bit difficult though because I need a 2 inch/55mm watch to put it in. XD

BTW, those Tardis Keys you have. Is that kinda beat up one a Spirit of Light key?

Great collection Wazoo!

Sweet collection!!!!
I have one of those old plastic ones based on the tech manual too. :lol
That is the first sonic that I had ever seen with sound.
What is the skinny one that looks sort of like an extending antenna?

Straker - Thanks! I'm surprised Mr. Parks was offering to make more of those after mine. He started saying a couple years after he made my sonic that he wasn't doing custom work for anyone anymore and only what was on his website was what was for sale. Maybe that's why he asked you for so much.

I took those pictures of my chiropractor's activators with my Roguescout Sonic during the first argument here on the RPF that the sonic may have come from one. You have to admit there is a resemblence.

Phase Pistol postulated in one of his design drawings that you could have the telescoping action AND a pull down sleeve but the machining would be hellish to get right, even with a computer controlled set up.

Good luck with the pocket watch. You don't need an antique one; a modern one made to look antique would be easier. A trip to Sears should do.

...and yeah; that's an S.O.L. 800-TREKKER key mixed in with the Megatron McCoy and the Beeb Official.

I have one of the old plastic ones somewhere around here too. The gray resin one you see in the picture is actually a resin cast off of one of the static props built for the 96 film.

The antenna looking one is a Romana Sonic used in Horns of the Nimon and seen for a fleeting moment in City of Death.

Very nice. I like those! That red is a very nice color on the Parks version.

Thanks!

That's anodized red. It looks really cool in sunlight and hasn't chipped or faded in all the years I've had it.
