Solo blaster grips

sorry if this topic has been covered ....

....but is it possible to put real wood mauser grips on a denix Solo blaster?
mainly, how do you screw 'em on? the denix uses two screws...one from each side...but the real mauser only uses one screw that goes true both grip panels. :confused

any help would be appreciated

Yes, but it requires a lot of modification. You have to remove that middle strut with the screw hole entirely, and hope that tension alone will keep your grips secure. It probably won't, though, which means you'll have to use glue or something as well.

The grip frame will also have to be shaved down around the outside, because it is bigger than on a real Mauser. You'll also have to shave away some of the inside surface, and/or carve away at the part of the grips themselves.
