Well, the title says it all. I searched this topic on the boards here and couldn't find any posts that were helpful.

I was thinking about giving in to my impulse to buy MR's Han Solo ANH EE blaster - what's a good price? The MR site says it's $650 - surely it must be available elsewhere for less, but my searches are coming up empty.

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

thanks all!

No, do not belong to the collector's society. Actually, I've been told I do not belong to any form of society!

I just sold one on ebay for $350. Person hasn't paid yet, so if they don't, it'll go back up...

50 to join the club 399 to buy it direct, i got one, my mopst expensive purchase to date ...and its a good deal...

I picked up mine off ebay for $355. It's all a waiting & watching game. These are surely not going to keep the $650 price tag up as the early re-sales are showing. ;)

Well, waiting finally paid off for me. I also got one on the Bay of E for $355, shipped. Everything with it - COA, case, original packaging, etc.

First time ever I bid on a high ticket item without getting sniped!

I'm not a Solo type of guy, so I'm not quite sure why I bought it - oh, yeah, because it's cool and I WANTED it!

Now comes the holster, droid caller, yadda yadda...

Congrats on the snag :cheers For the sharp rate of decrease in price for which I snagged mine I knew I'd weather it....I started a thread documenting it yesterday. I have the base gun done and am moving on to the other parts. It just looked too funny pristine clean when all of my Star Wars props are weathered accordindly.

Enjoy as it really is the creme' de'-la'-creme' of Han ANH blasters. The details and accuracy nail it as close as any replica can. Short of owning a bull-barrelled Mauser and Hensoldt with an MG81 out front it's the closest I'll come to having it.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

Actually, one of the reasons I'm looking forward to getting this thing is that I am gathering the parts to try scratch building my own for trooping, etc. - you know, one to toss around and experiment with. Now I'll have a good accurate guide to work from, instead of just blindly making a go of it.

(Same reason I would like to have the MR ST:TOS tricorder. But THOSE are routinely going for $500-600.)
