I really do love the design, and currently a prototype is being made. Even better is the pricing is great for something as huge and detailed as this will be. It's also life size

It's still a WIP, and I will have prototype pics up and going when I get everything worked out and get it sent stateside.

It's gonna rock :love

Another cool part to the project... I am more than likely going to be able to get custom colors done, meaning if you want a blue skull with red eyes, or a green one with clear eyes, I can have it made without it costing an arm and a leg.

Estimated weight of this thing plus the box? Over 22 pounds :eek

Are going to try making the aztec base holding it in the movie?

"Try" is the operative word here. The way I was originally going to make it won't support the giant weight of the piece, so I have to figure out a new way to make it.

Carved glued blue wall foam won't really hold up to the weight of the skull, specially where there is a hole cut in the center so a light can shine up

I am also trying to see if I can get a cool box to ship it in, because it's already going to ship in a wooden box to protect it, but if I can stylize the box for kinda cheap, it makes it a hell of a lot easier to display.

But if you make a frame of let's say MDF , Then cover it with a thin layer of bluefoam which you carve the details into. It would hold the weight and look like its made from rock..
