I also remember playing the soundtrack record over and over again and my brother and myself would mimic along with all the CB dialog on the soundtrack that was lifted from the movie.
I still want to get a can of Coor's for the display, but I haven't been able to findI saw a six pack of pop top Coors at the flea market this weekand and thought about this thread.
Jeez, I think I used to have one of those calculators, or at least a similar model from that series.
I built my dad a trans am. It's obviously inspired by smokey and the bandit but it's not an exact replica.
I came across a completely original 1977 Trans Am Special Edition. It wasn't completely screen-accurate since the interior was RED but it had almost no miles on it.
That must have been fun for you to see it with him "on the big screen". I only ever got to see it on television (multiple times,of course...my grandfather was a trucker in the 70's and took me to see the movie umpteen times. Great memories!!!
