Unlimited Run Slothfurnace's ESB/ROTJ V2 Clampcards

There really wasn't anything particularly "special" for the painting on this. I had all of the sections disassembled and well cleaned. I made a small jig that could hold a pen/pencil that would elevate each part (emitter neck, ribbed section, bottom section) so that I could get even good coverage with paint. I used pretty standard black automotive spray can paint. After getting several good coats with drying in-between, you want to slightly dampen a cloth with acetone and use the cloth to clean off the paint on the edges of the ring sections so you get a nice clean edge.

Knowing that you got those ring sections so sharp with a rag makes the job even more impressive. I'll give it a shot. Guess I can always strip it and start over if I botch it.

you can even use paper towels...the key is to have them just a wee bit damp with acetone and take your time. Qtips moistened in acetone also help with cleanup and keeping the lines nice and straight.

At this point, everyone who has ordered should either have theirs in hand, or will recieve the delivery shortly. No outstanding orders at this point on my end.
