Slave One model

Slave One, coming soon to a galaxy near you?

I believe MR would do a phenomenal job of replicating Slave One. The company is restrained by access to the original miniatures which are forever out touring the world. Slave One has been on display in Korea but will shortly return to the US. Becareful what you wish for...

Glad I never got around to buying a Code Three Slave One. Had considered it back in August, but never got around to it. Looks like my patience may be rewarded.

well, I have had all the kit parts sitting in a box for about 6 years now, in case MR is interested.

I guess you're not the only one.

My guess is its like the XWING.

Everyone insists they know every part.

I have yet to meet anyone to prove it. There is always something they have not found yet. Myself included.

(Tim you're the exception, but even I know you're missing two parts.)

Dont feel bad, Moe has found 4 other parts on the falcon since we finished up with MR.
DOH..

In the case of the Slave 1, there are folks that know the obvious ones, however, its the "Under stacked" ones,....ie the hidden ones that no one has a clear shot of that have not been found yet.

We shall see.

I look forward to seeing it,....however it comes to fruition.

OH MAN... Barry, that is a big hint. Please... oh please.
[/b]

The Slave-1 has already been officially announced by MR as one of the next (besides the X-wing)
SS models.

Yep, it looks like the Slave I is set for 2007, but unfortunately the Vader TIE fighter has been pushed back to 2008 (it's no longer listed for '07).

I'll be picking up both ships - they'll go nicely with my other SS models :)

Yep.... :D
"Absolutely incredible limited edition replicas created directly from the models or miniatures used in the actual filming of the Star Wars films Fans have been chomping at the bit to find out what Master Replicas will announce as a follow-up to 2006Â’s ground-breaking Millennium Falcon Studio Scale Replica. Now, joining the coveted ranks of past Master Replicas releases like the AT-AT Imperial Walker and Rebel Snowspeeder Studio Scales, fans can clear some shelf space for:

* Boba FettÂ’s Slave One Studio Scale Replica
* Rebel X-Wing, Red 5 Studio Scale Replica"

I'm glad I decided not to get the Falcon now. I want this one to go with my ROTJ Boba Fett and display it MoM style.
I hope it is true..

Lynn,

Slave One was one of the models under consideration for release this year, along with Vader's T.I.E. However... they were both in Korea and MR couldn't get the kind of access required to make these replicas work. MR have to wait until the models return to the US, which is soon. I doubt we'll see a MR Slave One in 2007. I'd spend this year's budget on a Falcon ;)

This MR Slave I ESB sounded cool, too bad it never came up.
By the way, to people asking which version of the ship would be done as a SS...Only the ESB version can be done, there is no studio scale model of the AOTC version, it's a digital model dudes, welcome to the 21th century :rolleyes :darnkids

And there is a pic of my Code 3 Slave I over Naboo

I just took a picture of it with my phone and inserted it into the matte painting with photoshop. :)

Cheers !
