This is my first ever foam build. learning what not to do next time lol
So I wont take up to much time with fancy words. I wanted to try a foam build and I figured Skyrim stuff was a good place to start. So without further stalling for time, here ya go.

The lovely lady of mine doing the modeling.

Paint job and some weathering laid down upside its head.

After a bit of time on the helm, I need a break so i started the chest/ shoulder pieces.

After which I added the extras and put on the base coats. not many pictures between these two steps. I get distracted and forget to document lol

I have yet to do any accenting, detailing, or weathering for all these pieces. Also i think I'm going to paint the inlay with an antique worn out gold color. THINGS TO DO are add a hammered texture and do the rest of the suit.
MORE TO COME.....
Also, my phone takes extra craptastic pictures so I'll be borrowing a friends to get some good ones at a later, but soon, date.

Public service announcement. When using rustoleum hammered texture rattle cans buy 2 cans to start. Then spend theENTIRE CONTENTS of the first on learning how to use it. Tips: keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away, when drying lay the object flat so the surface is parallel with the floor. If you try to hang dry it it will flatten out and be way too glossy. After messing with it for a while I've concluded that (for me at least) it's far better to put the dremel time forth and texture it yourself. This has been a public service announcement.
P.s.- the piece has come out great regardless. Pics to follow in the morning.

SO. an update.I know it's been a bit.

First I did a bit of weathering with a few different washes. I decided i wanted to alter the original design as far as colors go, so i colored the designs with a dark copper/ gold mix which i will weather next once i get my powders in the mail.

I've started the rest of the armor as well so that be up soon as well.
