Simple/dumb question: Can primer work as anti-fog spray too?

So I need to repaint some 3D printed Spidey lenses I got because of wear and tear.
I was wondering if primer could be used as anti-fog spray too, so I don't spend another $5 on a bottle if I don't have to.

Definitely no. Primer is basically like spray paint. It won't work. It'll just block your vision.

Allllright, so it's just the opposite. Guess I'm gonna need to add some painter's tape to my supply list.
