Silicone caulk 2 part mold making?

I am new to the mold making and am on a budget so I cannot really afford to buy actual silicone specifically for mold making. I heard there was a way to do it with silicone caulk tho, and affordable too. Can anyone forward me a reliable tutorial on how to do this? I would prefer it to be a 2 part mold since I need both sides of what I am working with casted so it is full.

I've actually experimented with making a mixture called "Oogoo", to see if it could be used for a stop motion puppet. Basically, Oogoo works like a mold putty (in fact, I've seen some recipes on YouTube that also adds baby oil to the mix to make it more soft and flexible, to which I've experimented with the mix). The recipe for it is here: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-Your-Own-Sugru-Substitute/

I think another RPF member shared this video, if my memory serves me correctly:

There's the silicone putty I mentioned (best for small projects):
